Twin oriel turrets with conical roofs are bookends for this remarkable Queen Anne double house, built ca. 1880. A roofing contractor long ago showed off his skill by crafting slate daisies onto the mansard roof.
Ornamental spindlework and brackets decorate the curved porch. Dentilled window caps crown the third floor windows.
The green house next door is equally impressive. This Second Empire house is faced with green serpentine stone. The building shows off its Chestnut Hill style with ornamental quoins, cornice brackets, and roof cresting.
