The second son: Horace J. Martin (1859 - 1915)
He also was a partner in the department store with his father, Jonas B. Martin.
He never married. He and his unmarried sister, Anna Elizabeth Martin, lived with their parents.

The third Martin sibling: Miss Anna Elizabeth Martin (1868 - 1964)
Miss Anna Elizabeth Martin was born in Lancaster and lived most of her life here. She was a graduate of Centenary College in Hackettstown, N. J. She never married. She and her unmarried brother, Horace Martin, both lived most of their lives with their parents Jonas and Anna Martin.

Above left: The Martin family’s home at 423 W. Chestnut St. Lancaster. Built for Jonas and Anna Martin in 1889. They lived here with their two unmarried children, Horace and Ann Elizabeth. Mrs. Martin’s unmarried sister also lived here: Emma Bachman Lehman. In the 1900 census there were two hired housekeepers here: Anna Dillick (age 21) and Widow Anna Hoover (age 43).

Mrs. Martin and her sister, Emma Lehman, grew up in a Mennonite family near Landisville. Mrs. Martin and her husband Jonas eventually became members of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lancaster. But Emma Lehman remained Mennonite. Her funeral in 1926 was at the Reformed Mennonite Church on East James Street, Lancaster.
