This is the “most intact, elaborate, best documented example of the Queen Anne style extant in Lancaster City.” Quote: Our Present Past (1985).
The home was built in 1883-85 for William Zahm Sener and wife Anna (Yeisley) Sener. Mr. Sener was a coal and lumber merchant. He was founder of Lancaster’s first electricity company. He also was co-founder of the Ephrata National Bank.
The architects were Hazlehurst and Huckel of Philadelphia.
